Soon after World War II Harolds Club launched the first of its famous outdoor sign advertising campaigns.
By the late 60’s there were more than 2200 “Harolds Club or Bust” signs nationwide.
This painting depicts one of the earliest examples and was the last of the numerous
“Barn Paints” that dotted the western states in the 40’s & 50”s.
It was located on a ranch at the Oregon-Nevada border
and eventually destroyed by fire.
