The first Sparks public school was dedicated in1906. It served both elementary and high school students.
A new high school & junior high school was constructed in 1917 at the corner of C & 15th Street. This structure later became the Sparks Junior High School when a new Sparks High School was built in 1953 at the corner of G & 15th Street.
It continues as the current Sparks High School.
